MOTHERSGRABANDGO.ORG
The mission of Mother's Grab & Go is to alleviate hunger in King County by soliciting, collecting, growing, and packing food for distribution through a network of agencies and programs, as well as provide opportunities for self sufficiency. Our services include food box programs, emergency shelters, congregate meal sites, residential treatment services, and children's programs.
King County is growing and a number of families are entering the area to look for employment. We effectively distribute the food to low-income families and single mothers who are struggling to put food on the table.
Over 60% of these families has at least one family member working full-time.
Mother's Grab & Go is an important resource to these programs because we can respond quickly with the one of the most important resources these families need. Food!
Children represent over 52% of the county residents in need of Mother's Grab & Go service.

2018 has been a great and successful year for Mother's Grab & Go. We have made many connections in our mission to feed, clothe and provide emotional and psychological help to mother's and their children, seniors in the greater Seattle and King County homeless population. These families are in a compromised position and need help with these resources to restore them as more productive citizens.
In order to continue to serve this at-risk population, Mother's Grab & Go is seeking financial donations to opening an office, as well as storage facility, donated trucks, and collection vehicles for food. Also a small portion will go towards a Resource developer to partner with Mother's Grab & Go for 2019. This will also allow us to expand our reach and serve more mothers and their children.
We need your help with this immediate initiative to obtain $200k to Mother's Grab & Go, which is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit recognized by the IRS.. All donations are tax-deductible. Tax ID Number 81-2948603
Thank you in advance!

"Most of our families don't have vehicles and getting to the grocery store can be difficult. Having a service like "Mother's Grab and Go" would give families a way to use their food stamps and WIC coupons on quality and healthy food."
"I support the ideas of having stores close to our client's homes that offer fruits, vegetables, cereals, formula and other items that can be purchased with WIC. Bringing healthy food and convenience to neighborhoods around Seattle would give our clients another option and assist with accessibility."
